The hound has glass eyes There is a whistle in the handle, this works well. It has a silver coloured (probably nickel) collar with foliate decoration and a blank oval cartouche for engraving. The short shaft or stock is made of golden brown malacca cane with its characteristic teardrop shaped cross section The whip has a its original small open rawhide keeper at its end and a braided
