The 1 9 plate tintype of the siblings at the top has a Civil War tax stamp on the back and has cover glass, so does the 1 16 of the man to its immediate left. Those matted, miniature gem tintypes do not have cover glass (and never did). Condition of the lot as a whole is good to very good, some individual pieces are better.
